DOWLAIS PONY IMPROVEMENT SOCIETY SHOW
The Venue
Dowlais Pony Improvement Society Horse Show celebrates its
33rd Anniversary this year and we would like to thank everyone who has been involved over the years that have helped to make each Show possible and successful.
The Show is now held annually at Cyfarthfa Park, Merthyr Tydfil on August Bank Holiday Monday. Cyfarthfa Castle was home to Iron Master William Crawshay and his family, it's now a museum and school owned by Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council.
With ground totaling 160 acres the Council also holds an event at the park on the same day, for full details of this please contact Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council.
All horse Show traffic to enter at Gate 3, Gurnos. The Show will commence at 10am prompt, for a full list of classes and rules please refer to the Show Schedule. To order a Schedule please contact the Show or Society Secretary.
