The Hill Societies Of Wales Newsletter

This newsletter has been produced for the Hill Pony Improvement Societies of Wales and Supporters of the breed. A voluntary group of hill breeders and supporters have formed a committee which has produced these Issues. Issues will then be produced on a six monthly basis.

The aim of the Newsletter is to inform breeders and supporters. We believe it is vital for these ponies to run on the hills if the breed is to maintain its hardiness, characteristics and type. As well as being a part of the area’s history the ponies play a vital environment role. The ecological balance of the area would completely change with out the ponies grazing the harsh landscape.
